What Does It Cost?

NE Six Shooters members may vote on club matters, receive notice of meetings, events, and news, and attend club practices. We ask you to help out with club and match operations. 2012 membership costs are:

$30 for an Individual

$20 for a Wrangler (under 12)

$50 for a Family

The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association sanctions our competitions. You must be a CMSA member to compete. You can sign up at a match! 2012 CMSA membership costs are:

$70 for an Individual 

$100 for a Family

$35 for an Associate (introductory membership with limited competition rights - see CMSA web site for details)

Competition Entry Fees cover the cost of materials, prizes, insurance, association fees, balloon runners, arena and equipment maintenance. Basic 2012 entry fees are:

$70 for a 4-Stage Shoot

$90 for a 6-Stage Shoot (or more, for a signature event)

$20 for a 4-Stage Wrangler Entry

$25 for a 2-Stage Rifle or Shotgun Entry, when offered

Basic Equipment to get started includes a horse (of course), a pair of .45 caliber single action revolvers with holsters, and basic cowboy wear (boots, western long sleeve shirt, chaps or chinks over jeans, and a hat or helmet.)
